Augustus Leo “Monkey” Duncan, 83, of New Bern eternal rest on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Jerdine Johnson Duncan of the home; sons, Terrill Williams (Elisa), Florida, Leroy Bell, New Bern, David Duncan, New Jersey and Tim Williams, Florida; two daughters, Tina Duncan, New York and Tammy Dixon (Rick), Goldsboro; eight brothers and four sisters, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
