BEASON, Ms. Joann, a former resident of Tuskegee, AL, passed November 26, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Tuskegee, AL, Dr. J.H. Curry, Jr., Pastor. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Auburn, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Ms. Beason will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
