PALMETTO – A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at First Church of God of Palmetto (Project Hope) for Mr. Thomas “Mitchell” Martin, 67, who entered eternal rest on November 23, 2025 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Pastor Dell will officiate the celebration of life.

Mr. Martin’s memories are being cherished by: one son, Shawn Hardy of Port Barre, LA; one daughter, Shaner Hardy of Palmetto, LA; two brothers, Alfred Jerome Martin of Houston, TX and Donald Wayne Andrus of Palmetto, LA; one sister, Lillian Carol Martin of Palmetto, LA; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom Martin and Helen Louise Romar and one sister, Sherran Joyce LaBostrie.
