MRS. ANNIE LEE HELEN MADDOX BASKERVILLE was born on July 13, 1928 to the late Clara Peace Maddox and George Ollie Maddox and entered her eternal reward on November 27, 2025 at her residence in Richmond, VA. She was lovingly raised on the Maddox Family Farm in Kenbridge, VA along with her siblings- George, Marjorie, Robert and Dennis Maddox; all of whom preceded her in death. A daughter, Margaret “Bet” Farrar and a nephew, Joe Larry Maddox also preceded her in death.

At an early age she was baptized and joined Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Kenbridge, VA. In June of 1947, she graduated from the Lunenburg County Training School.

On June 30, 1973 Annie was joined in Holy Matrimony to Deacon Jessie Baskerville. They made their home in South Hill, VA where they shared nearly 14 blessed years until Jessie’s passing in 1987.

Annie later joined Gethsemane Baptist Church, South Hill, VA and attended faithfully until her heath declined.

Love ones left to cherish her memories are sons- Dr. Archer (Viola) Baskerville of Richmond, VA; Sgt. William (Jane) Baskerville of San Antonio, TX; daughters- Ms. Shirley Jean Fells, Leavenworth, KS and Tracey Baskervile, with whom she shared a home in Richmond, VA. She will also be dearly missed by friends and family, special nieces, Mrs. Clara Meredith of Emporia, VA and Ms. Betty Ann Maddox of Silver Springs, MD with whom she talked daily…sometimes twice a day.
