Mike Edward Gourley

Mike Edward Gourley departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Mike proudly served in the military where he was recognized and awarded a National defense service medal for being a sharp shooter. He will always be remembered for being a loving and funny father, son, brother and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents Helen Gourley and Ford Sullivan. His siblings: Larry Gourley, George Gourley, Betty Hodge (Marlyn Gene), Della Glenn, and Delilah Brabson.

Mike is survived by his children: Demetra (Stefan) Vonner and Mike (Rhyesa) Stover. His grandchildren: Kendall Wright, Kia Wright, Keshawn Davis, Dashawnda Key, Skylar McClellan, Kimber Abrams, Mikayla Stover, Mike Stover, Tyson Stover and Amiya Stover. Mike also had a host of great grand children, friends, and most importantly his devoted friend Robin Blair.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 11-11:30 a.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 11:30 at the Unity Mortuary Chapel where Pastor Joseph S. Moore will be officiating.
