Annette Marie "Annie Mae" Middleton

Annette Marie Middleton peacefully passed away on November 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, who provided comfort and support during this time. Her grandchildren fondly called her "Annie Mae," and her lifelong friends knew her as "Heck," names that reflected the warmth and love she shared with everyone around her. Born on February 8, 1947, she was the cherished oldest daughter of the late Arthur Middleton, Sr, and Carrie Lee Atkins Middleton.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, GA. Interment will be held in the Louisville City Cemetery, New Street, Louisville, GA

Public Viewing will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home.

From a young age, Annette brought joy to those around her through her singing at St. Paul Baptist Church, where she actively participated in both the youth and senior choirs. After graduating from Jefferson County High School in 1965, she moved eagerly to New York City to begin her career. She spent five years there before returning home to Georgia, where she dedicated many years to Sampson Curtin Manufacturing and later joined Jefferson Hospital as a housekeeper. Her dedication and hard work led her to become the Department Manager, a role she held with pride for 30 years before retiring.

Annette was preceded in death by her three brothers—Robert Atkins, William "Bill" Middleton, and Arthur Lee Middleton Jr.—and her two sisters, Veronica Middleton Thompson and Debra Jean Middleton, as well as her grandchildren, Quentin Maurice Middleton and Alexxus NyAsia Riles.

Her warm smile, loving spirit, and caring heart will be forever cherish by her daughters: Tara Manson and Kinja Middleton Lewis, her sister Mary (Robert) Carter, her grandchildren Adrian Manson, Byron (Kadezja) Manson, Brittany Middleton, and Siniaha (Dantavious) Middleton, and her eleven great-grandchildren—Averie, Ariana, Hailey, Ayla, Lee, Amira, Elijah, Brayden, Cainan, Bryson, and Peyton—She also leaves behind a niece and a great-niece she lovingly raised—Shakhanna Middleton and London Underwood—a brother-in-law, Irvin Thompson, a sister-in-law, Queen Middleton and Johnetta Atkins (Manhattan New York), and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were blessed to know her warmth and kindness.
