Reba Ann Dodd was born on December 16, 1955, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to Emmett and Ethel (Mallett) Dodd. She was the youngest of five children and graduated from Kosciusko High School in 1973. She was a baptized member of New Garden Baptist Church.
She enjoyed visiting the library, reading, tending to her flowers, and watching cooking shows. Rebeca also enjoyed sharing stories about the day’s gone by and receiving phone calls and visits from family and friends.
Reba is survived by her sisters, Ethel Lee Stone (Dodd) and Verner Dean Thomas (Dodd); her brothers, Emmett Dodd Jr., and Willie Dodd; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Ethel Dodd, and her sisters, Julia Reeves and Minnie Aldridge.
Reba devoted much of her adult life to caring for her parents with love and dedication. Later, she worked for 13 years at Kosciusko Group Home. Though later years of her life journey included seasons of illness, she faced them with grace and strength.
