Rosetta M. Teague

Funeral service for Rosetta M. Teague 88, will be Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 1 pm at the Bethel Baptist Church, Brutonville/Jacksonville with Pastor Angelo Groce, officiating. Rev. Rodney McMillian, eulogist. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Teague's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 5, 1-6pm. She passed away on November 30, 2025 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Birmingham.

She graduated from Calhoun County Training School in Hobson City. Mrs. Teague was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (Brutonville Road) Jacksonville. Survivors include her daughter: Pamela (Larry Sr.) Smith; grandchildren: Larry Jr. (Nichele) Smith and Letia (Christopher) McIntosh; great-grandchildren: Larry III, Karter Smith, Christopher McIntosh; her brothers: Luther McMillian and William McMillian, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Emma McMillian, her husband, Lebron Teague, daughter, Marketta Johnson, siblings, Audrey Brown, Pearlie May, Lorene Walker, Ethel Smith, Vera McMillian, Beatrice Weatherspoon, Ross McMillian and Wallace McMillian.
