OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Harry Lee Dunbar, Sr., 68, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Dunbar’s memories are being cherished by: his two daughters, Tameka Dunbar (Eric Thomas) and Tina Dunbar (Kenneth Charles), both of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Susan Lewis of Opelousas, LA; the mother of his children, Patricia Dunbar of Opelousas, LA; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Ann Dunbar; his parents, St. Louis Dunbar, Sr. and Elnora Dunbar; one son, Harry Dunbar, Jr.; three brothers, St. Louis Dunbar, Jr., Allen Dunbar and Larry Dunbar; and one sister, Gloria Ned.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
