Obituary For Henry Kelly

Henry James Kelly, 75, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home in Heath Springs, SC. He was the son of the late John Lewis and Nettie Belle Drakeford Kelly. He was born May 1, 1943 in Kershaw County South Carolina.

Henry affectionately known as "Duke" to his family and friends was educated in the Kershaw County School System.

Duke accepted Christ at an early age. He rededicated his life to God and was baptized at Flat Rock Bethlehem Baptist Church in January of 2003.

Duke retired from Archer Daniels Midlands in Kershaw, South Carolina after many years of service.

Duke was united in holy matrimony to Pauline Harris. . Duke was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael R. Kelly; two sisters, Lula Blanche Kelly and Nettie Mae Kelly.

Cherishing his memories are a devoted wife, Pauline H. Kelly; four sons, Mitchell Kelly, Murray (Melissa) Kelly, Woodrow Kelly and Daryl Kelly; one daughter, Greta Kelly-Mix; his son-in-law and best friend, Aaron Mix; two sisters, Clara (Donald) Wade and Nannie Margaret Hayden; two brothers, Hazel (Annie Marie) Kelly and Clinton (Lorette) Kelly; two aunts, Luella Cauthen and Elizabeth Pinchback, whom was reared in the home with him like a sister, always special and dear to his heart; fifteen grandchildren, four grandchildren reared in his home, Daryl, Jr. and Darius Kelly, Courtney and Jaden Mix; ten great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Harris and Reeivie Massey; two brothers -in-law, Johnson Lee Harris and Edward Harris, Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be Noon, Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Stewart Funeral Home by Rev. Dr. Bennie L. Stinson and Mayor Eddie Moore with burial in the Lancaster Memorial Park Cemetery.
