Mr. Bobby “Bob” Gene Hunt, Sr., 80, passed away peacefully at his residence on December 4, 2025, in Shelby, NC. Bob was the son of the late Lester Hunt and Mary Bennett. He was born on May 16, 1945, in Rutherford County, NC.

Funeral services are scheduled as follows at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel on Monday December 8, 2025. The public may offer respect from 12 - 1 p.m., the reception of family and friends will be held from 1:30 until 2 p.m., and services will begin at 2 p.m.
