Obituary For Vera Roberts

Vera May (Petty) Roberts, 71, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Monday, January 14, 2019. She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Almeta Kenley and Jimmy Petty, a U. S. Army Veteran and retired from the U. S. Department of Defense with a combined service of 40 years. Vera is survived by her only son, Leonard T. Roberts, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer (Moser) Roberts; her five grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Her life will be celebrated on Monday, January 28 at Noon in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing 11:00 a.m. until Noon and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
