Funeral service for Mother Virginia Jiles, 82 of Troup will be held on Saturday, Noon at Mary's Memorial COGIC with Elder Nolan Ross, eulogist. Burial will follow in Community Cemetery under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

She was born on July 15, 1936 and transitioned on January 19, 2019. Mother Jiles was the granddaughter of the Late Bishop S.D. Lee. She was a member of Mary's Memorial COGIC and remained a faithful member until her demise. Mother Jiles was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby Jiles, two brothers and great granddaughter Kezia Ross.

Those left to cherish her memories are three sons, Jamison Thompson, Dewye Jiles and Lewye JIles (Alsiha); three daughters, Lisa Thompson, Shunja Jiles and Barbara Reliford (John) and a special sister, Myra Hart. She also leaves 22 grand, 29 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
