Mr. Dave Peterson was born on March 24, 1959, in
Blountstown, Florida, to the late Roy and Ella Mae Lee Peterson. He peacefully transitioned from this life on December 5, 2025.
Dave was raised and educated in Blountstown, where he built a life rooted in hard work, family, and faith. He spent many years as a self-employed logger, a career he took great pride in. His strong work ethic
and dedication were evident in everything he did.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ella Mae Lee Peterson; siblings, Louise Andrews, Martha Lee Peterson, Roosevelt Peterson, Barbara Peterson, and Kenny Peterson; and son, Dave
Peterson, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving siblings: Patricia Lee Peterson, Ordean Peterson, Jessie Peterson, Charles (Deloris) Peterson, Rochelle Peterson, and Calvin Peterson.
Dave was a proud father, and his legacy continues through his children: Terrell (Kristin) Black, Martin Peterson, Roosevelt (Tara) Peterson, Gavin (Stephanie) Peterson, and Tyrone Peterson.
He is also survived by a loving host of grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him tremendous joy. He cherished his special niece and nephew, Barbara Peterson and Ivorice Peterson, along with many other dear relatives and friends.
Dave will be deeply missed, yet his legacy and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
