Cirilo Esquivel Segura, 57, of Bowie, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 6, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1968 in Acuña, Coahuila Mexico.
Cirilo was the beloved son of Maria DeJesus Segura and Cirilo Esquivel Sr., who preceded him in death and whom he is now reunited with.
He was a hardworking man who spent many years in the oilfield before suffering a stroke 13 years ago. Even after life slowed him down, his spirit never did. He loved being outdoors—planting roses, cleaning up the yard, and taking pride in the space around him. Cirilo had a rare gift: he never met a stranger. Everyone knew him because he talked to everyone always making everyone laugh, always ready with a conversation, a smile, or a kind word.
He was a devoted father and a proud grandfather. Cirilo is survived by his children, Veronica Esquivel, Erika Sampson, and Yuliana Esquivel, and by his beloved grandchildren, Javier Gaytan, Sophia Gaytan, Jack Sampson, Diana Sampson, and Ellia Gambill, who brought him immense joy and purpose.
Services will be held privately with family only.
Cirilo will be remembered for his warmth, his work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX.
