Hattie Pearl Prince was the first born of three children: Hattie, Johnnie, and Robert. At age 18 Hattie met Raymond Moore Sr while walking into a store; Raymond was instantly smitten. They exchanged pleasantries, was engaged for two years and married on September 14 1963. Hattie Pearl was a woman of gentle strength and powerful determination. She attended Nursing School while working full time and taking care of a husband and family. Hattie eventually became Assistant Nurse Manager of GYN Department at The Med.
