Rosemary Bernice Virginia (Knabe) Reynolds

Rosemary Reynolds, 90, of Forestburg, Texas, passed from this earth peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, Texas on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for visitation. A short memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Greg Parr from Forestburg United Methodist Church.

Rosemary was born February 14, 1935, in Muenster, Texas to Joseph Knabe and Mary (Klimpt) Knabe. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary and Muenster Public School. On July 2, 1953, Rosemary married Kenneth Reynolds. She was a devoted wife and homemaker and enjoyed doing puzzles and playing board or card games with family. She would host big gatherings for the holidays at her home and made a family beloved Chocolate Meringue Pie, among other delicious goodies. She was an excellent seamstress and worked for Hagger Slacks in Bowie, Texas for 10 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Knabe; brothers Gerald, Harold, James, Richard, Fred, Gilbert, and Leon Knabe; and husband Kenneth Reynolds.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Mary Jo Eldridge, Jerry Reynolds, Ronnie Reynolds, and Wesley Reynolds; along with grandchildren, Joe Eldridge, Amanda Haack, Jonathan Reynolds, Christany Kottwitz, Kenneth Reynolds, Michelle Knodel, Michael Reynolds, Shane Reynolds, Justin Reynolds, and Samantha Dangelmayr; and 18 great-grandchildren.
