Cynthia Elaine Parker Chambers was born on December 8, 1958, in Sylvester, Georgia to Mrs. Ruth Parker.

Cynthia attended schools in the Worth County Public School System and graduated from Worth County High School.

Cynthia gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined the Pentecostal Full Gospel Crusade Church in Poulan, Georgia. She served as a faithful and dedicated member until her health began to decline.

On September 13, 1985, Cynthia was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Homer J. Chambers.

Cynthia dedicated nearly 30 years of her life to teaching, a calling she carried far beyond the classroom. She was also a dedicated school bus driver, ensuring the safe and caring transport of countless children over the years. Her students were an extension of her heart, and so much so that at home she would often call her own children by her students’ names — a habit that became a familiar and humorous reminder that teaching was truly part of who she was.

Family was the center of Cynthia’s world. She was a steady presence, fiercely loyal, and deeply loving. Her laughter, her sayings, her lessons — both in and out of the classroom — and her unique ways of showing affection will be missed beyond words, but never forgotten. Cynthia was known for her bold personality, infectious confidence, and unmistakable sense of humor. Her affection was expressed in ways only she could manage — including her legendary habit of playfully biting loved ones on the forehead. She was also famous for helping herself to food from others’ plates instead of making her own plate, a habit that always drew laughter and became a part of her charm. An excellent cook, Cynthia was unmatched in the kitchen — no one could cook quite like her. Cooking was one of the many ways she showed love, and she proudly passed down some of her treasured recipes to her sisters, ensuring her flavors and traditions would live on.

Cynthia Elaine Parker Chambers gave up this busy walk of life on December 16, 2025, surrounded by love. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ruth Parker, and her sister, Gwendolyn Roberts.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband, Homer J. Chambers; her children, Catrina Parker-Bolduc, Kedrick J. Chambers; her stepdaughter, Shamonica (Jasaman) Denson, with whom she resided and by whom she was lovingly cared for, along with a host of devoted caregivers; her cherished grandchildren, Devin and Aaron, (children of Catrina) and Daydreon (child of Kedrick); her loving sisters, Charlotte Terrell, Annette Parker-White, Sonya Parker-Harrell, and Bridget Parker-Ellis; and a host of other relatives, her church family, and many, many sorrowing friends.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
