It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Pansy Lee Jones.

Pansy Lee Jones was born on March 4, 1951, to the late Preston Sr. and Pancy Jones.

She was converted in 1968 and joined Hickory Hill Primitive Baptist Church where she song in the choir and was the church secretary. Later in life, she joined Centenary African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served until her health failed. She was a member of Sons and Daughters Morning Globe Lodge #7, as well as Floyd Chapel Pallbearer #10. She was known as the Community Hairdresser, worked as a cook at McCrory’s Department Store Restaurant in the Tallahassee Mall and at Centerville Healthcare.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, one daughter Victoria Jones Kimble (Frank), ten grandchildren: Zeniya, Isaiah, Zorianna, Elijah, LaChina Starks of Quincy Florida, Malachi, Nehemiah, Heaven, Nevaeh Washington, and Noah Kimble of Tallahassee, Florida. Brother: Preston Jones, Jr. (Lynn) of Winter Haven, Florida, Sisters: Olivia Hatcher of Havana, Florida, Betty Jones, of Pensacola, Florida, Eva Miller, Mary Moore (Willie), Annie Powell (Lewis) of Tallahassee, Florida. Sister-in-Law, Lizzett Jones Williams.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Shanesieya Jones (Nikki), parents: Preston Sr. and Pancy Jones, brothers: Albert, Drake Stanley, Roy Sr., and Edmond Jones. sister: Julia Jones.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Centenary African Methodist Episcopal Church, 10540 Old Centerville Road with burial at Floyd Chapel Cemetery.

Viewing will be from 12:00 (Noon) to 6:00 P.M. Friday, December 19, 2025 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
