Although Elaine is gone, she will live in our hearts forever. She is survived by her one sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews and great-great-grand nieces and nephews — all who will forever cherish her memory.

Elaine De Maude Ffrench-Lowe, born October 18, 1926, quietly passed away on December 2, 2025 of natural causes at the age of 99 after a long and fulfilling life.

Elaine was born in Kingston, Jamaica to Olive Marshall and John Ffrench, the oldest of 4 children. In her working years she was a skilled seamstress and dedicated care provider. She married her beloved Owen Lowe who preceded her in death.

She immigrated to New York in the early 60s joining family, spending several decades in the Bronx.

She enjoyed listening to the radio, watching her stories, an avid reader and lover of sweets.
