J.W. Stephens, age 87 of Athens, GA passed December 19, 2025.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 12:00PM, Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 1931 Old West Broad Street, Athens, GA.

Public viewing, Friday 2-6 PM, at the funeral home.

Survivors include: his daughters, Trina Hill (Vernon), Latasha Stephens, and Vanessa Stephens; his grandchildren, Jonathan Hill, Michelle Stephens, Douglas Stephens, Holly Stephens, Payton Stephens, Douglas Nesbit, and Dion Nesbit; seven great-grandchildren; his sisters, Cora Stephens and Ann Stephens of Baltimore; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
