Jazmine Aiana Moore, 32, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2025. She was born on December 10, 1993, in Denver, Colorado, alongside her twin brother, Jizayah Moore, to Cheryldine Love (née Scudder/Moore) and Eddie Buie.

Jazmine attended Robert E. Lee High School and was a cherished member of the Therapeutic Recreation Center community from third grade through adulthood. Surrounded by a loving and supportive community, Jazmine adored her experiences that allowed her to thrive here. A talented and decorated athlete, Jazmine excelled in swimming and also participated in bowling and basketball. She competed in the Special Olympics for swimming in 2014 in New Jersey and for basketball in 2018 in Seattle, receiving medals for her achievements.

Members of her family remember Jazmine as genuine and attentive, traits best exhibited in her ability to truly listen during conversation. She had an amazing capacity to make people feel cared for by paying close attention to the details of others and their lives. When she spoke about bigger issues such as her dreams or how she wanted to see the world, her thoughts often centered on building a charity or foundation to help those in need, whether by supplementing housing or food, or assisting people who had fallen through the cracks.

Jazmine had a zest for life and a deep love for crafts, music and dance, sports, and entertainment. She had a genuine interest in everyone and loved asking questions to learn from and live through others. She celebrated the victories of those around her and was always happy when someone shared good news. Jazmine had a pure soul and was honest in her intentions and open in her feelings. Her enthusiasm, excitement, and infectious laugh remain forever in the hearts and memories of many.

Jazmine is survived by her loving family, including her siblings: Solomon Barber, Jonathan Barber, Rashad Barber, her twin brother Jizayah Moore, Kasandra Love, Vanessa Love, Quent Lee, Shaquita Davis, Latoya Evans, and Miguel Robinson Sr. She is also survived by her mother, Cheryldine Love; her stepfather, Walter Love; her grandmother, Lillian Moore; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Buie, and her brother, Tekekin Knight.

Funeral services will take place on January 4th, 2026 at 10am CST at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home in Montgomery, Alabama.
