OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at The Truth Is Ministries, 619 W. Vine Street, Opelousas, LA for Miss Tameka Angello, 43, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Plaisance, LA.

Bishop Shelvin will be officiating the funeral service.

Miss Angello’s memories are being cherished by: her parents, Eugene and Linda Brooks of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Michelle Angello and Rachelle Angello, both of Cypress, TX; two uncles, Pastor Robert (Mary) Angello and Charles (Lawanda) Angello, both of Opelousas, LA; four aunts, Evangelist Judy Angelle and God mother Barbara McNeal (LaRue), both of Houston, TX, Norma Merritte of Memphis, TN and Ruby Smith of Nashville, TX; and a host of relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Ceasar and Vivian Angello; Godfather, Dennis Angello; and uncles and aunt.
