Obituary For Mother Eloise Felton Sears

Eloise Felton Sears of Vero Beach Florida passed away on January 27, 2019 at the VNA Hospice House. Eloise Sears was born in Cordele Georgia to the late Susie Pearl and LC Felton on October 19, 1934. She completed her education in the Crisp County School system in Georgia. She met her and married Willie Fred Sears and together they had eight children. Eloise enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking for all occasions especially baking cakes and pies. She will be well remembered by those who partake of her food and enjoyed her companionship. She was a compassionate and loving individual who always had a smile or a kind word to say. She loved the Lord and accepted him into her life at an early age.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Darlene (Henry) Dillard III, Willie Fred (Madelyn) Sears Jr., Mae (Danny) Brackens, Ethel Sears, Samuel (Laryness) Sears Sr., Sharon Sears Hardy, all of Vero Beach, Florida; Roger (Aurora) Sears of Tifton, Georgia and Terry Sears of St Petersburg, Florida. Two Blended daughters: Diane Ferguson of Tifton, Georgia and Diane Chatifield of Ashburn, Georgia, brothers: Willie (Arthur Lee) Felton of Vero Beach, Florida, Wilbert (Mary) Butts of Atlanta, Georgia and Angelo Felton of Daytona Beach, Florida; sister: Clara McKenzie of Passaic New Jersey, blended mother, Fleecia Felton of Daytona Beach, Florida, a host of grand-children, great-grandchildren great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and caring friends who will miss her dearly.

A public visitation for Mother Spears will convene on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Vero Beach, FL. A Homegoing Celebration will convene on Saturday, February 2, 2019 beginning at 2:00pm at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Vero Beach, FL. Burial will immediately follow in Gifford Cemetery in Gifford, FL.
