Funeral service for Peggy Joyce Wooley Brown 73, will be Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 2 pm at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel where Rev. Jeffrey C. Williams, Pastor and Rev. Stacey Hill, Officiating. Interment will follow in Heflin City Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown passed away on December 21, 2025. No Public Viewing. Mrs. Brown graduated from Cleburne County High School. She was a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and retired from Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Al. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Heflin, AL Survivors include her sisters: Brenda Moon, Patricia Bey (JR), Frieda Abrams (David), and Rosemary Brown; her brother: Rodney Conwell-Strong (Judd); brother in-law, James Baker; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephew and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Lee Wooley and Pearlie Mae Conwell, son, Darrell Wooley; her daughter, Kimberly Wooley, siblings, Bertha Baker; Eddie Thomas, in-laws, Donald Moon and Tony Brown.
