Carolyn S. Allen-Hayden was born August 23, 1951, to the late Willie and Clarence Lee Wesley Allen. She transitioned December 12, 2025.

Carolyn graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Atlanta, TX, in 1971. She was married to Lenzy O’Neal Hayden. She was a member of Hendrix Temple C.O.G.I.C. until she moved to Dallas and united with David’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Carolyn was part of a large, loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenzy O’Neal Hayden; her parents, Willie and Clarence Allen; her son, Lenzy O’Neal Hayden III; and her brother, Willie Allen “Bubba.”

She leaves to cherish her memories:

Sons: LaCadra Hayden, Brian Hayden, and Dion Moss (wife, Lasonya Moss)

Sisters: LuVell McGrigor (Charles), Evie Hill (Donald), and Bertha Allen.

Brother: Ted Allen

Grandchildren: Jonathan Hayden, Alex Hayden, Quiana Moss, Gracie Taylor, Ethan Hayden, Savannah Hayden, Kamryn Moss, Kylie Hayden, Cayden Hayden, and Serious Hayden.

Host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, close friends, and colleagues.
