Funeral service for Alveria Chisholm, 65, of Auburn, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Friday, January 2, 2026, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2461 US Highway 29 North Auburn, AL, 36830 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Chester Levett will officiate.

Mrs. Chisholm, who passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the East Alabama Medical in Opelika, Alabama, was born January 3, 1960 in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Chisholm will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, George Chisholm of Auburn, AL; one son, Sedrick (Media) Collier of Auburn, AL; two bonus children, Tyrus Baldwin and Jeremiah Frazier both of Auburn, AL; three sisters, Irene Dumas of Gary, IN, Minnie Pearl Frazier and Alfreda (Jerry) Battle both of Opelika, AL; one brother, Walter (Geraldine) Frazier of Auburn, AL; one uncle, Stephen Jones of Atlanta, GA; four aunts, Mary Stinson, Dorothy Watts both of Opelika, AL, Lillie Johnson of Virginia and Sharon Gilmore of Auburn, AL; four sisters-in-law, Joann Strickland (Charles Brown), Angela (Monroe) Scott both of Tuskegee, AL, Melanee Chisholm (Willie Philpot) of Auburn, AL and LaShonda (Gino) Stanley of Columbus, GA; two brothers-in-law, Gregory (Patricia) Chisholm of Auburn, AL and Bobby Chisholm (Veronica Grant) of Loachapoka, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
