Carrie Denise Johnson-Tucker was born October 7, 1965 to the late Alfred P. Banks and the late Gloria Lee Gaymon and departed this life on December 22, 2025 in CJW Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia. She spent most of her childhood in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her adult life in Farmville, Virginia.

Carrie was educated in the Prince Edward County Public School System. After graduation, she moved to the Richmond, Virginia area and then she settled down in Hopewell, Virginia.

Carrie touched so many in so many ways with her warm bubbly and outgoing personality. Her big beautiful smile could light up any room. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and getting her nails done. She also liked going to the beach.

Carrie was a very caring and supportive person who loved having fun with her family and friends. She will be forever missed and loved.

Carrie leaves to cherish her memories- her husband- Charles Tucker; two sons- Rakim and Jabriel; two brothers- Alfred Banks, Jr. and Gerald Banks; one sister- Chontrese Haigler; sister-in-law- Denise Banks; brother-in-law- Maurice Haigler; two nephews- Maurice Jr. and Maurion and one niece- Mercedes, and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
