Robert Lee “Bob” Morris passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025. He was born on October 22, 1945, in Arlington, VA and grew up there, playing sports and beginning his love for golf. He graduated from UVA in 1969, with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and was employed by the Naval Air Systems Command for 35 years at Crystal City in Virginia and Cherry Point, North Carolina.

He is survived by his loving wife Margo, his son Craig Morris (Mona) and granddaughters Meredith and Tori, and son Steven Morris and granddaughter Charlotte Morris. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard Jay Morris and Dora Virginia Lee Morris and brother, Richard “Jay” Morris.

Bob played sports all his life and especially loved golf and bowling where he made many life-long friends. He was also active in coaching with his two sons and made a lasting impact in many young men's lives on those teams who remember Coach Bob fondly. Bob was most proud of his family and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by many.
