Jackie Forsythe, age 96, peacefully entered her heavenly home on January 2, 2026 at Duke Hospice Hock Family Pavilion.

She is survived by two of her children - Ed (Sandra) Forsythe and Shelia (Nelson) Butts, five grandchildren - Michelle (Chad) Coffey, Laura (Randy) Chappell, Mandy (Joey) Johnson, Stephanie Forsythe and Michael Forsythe, 8 great Grandchildren - Eric (Rachel) Coffey, Gracie (Bradley) LaFeir, Jace (Melissa) Johnson, Collin (Chloe) Johnson, Ava Grace Johnson, Mia Johnson, Samantha Chappell, and Sophie Drowns, 2 great-great grandchildren - Parker and Elijah, and brother - Billy (Gail) Aiken.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roger, 2 sons, Michael and Robert (Sheila) Forsythe, her parents Bill and Corrine Aiken, a brother, Gene (Judy) Aiken, and sister Diane Aiken Bryson.

Her celebration of life will be January 17, 2026 at 2pm at Olive Grove Baptist Church in Creedmoor, NC. With Visitation prior beginning at 1pm. Officiating are Pastor Zach Davenport and Pastor Jonathan Barbee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hock Family Pavilion or Olive Grove Baptist Church in her honor.
