Funeral services for Mr. Gabriel Latrell Holt will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 12 noon at Greater Mt. Herman Baptist Church on 9th Avenue with Rev. Leo Cole, officiating.

Mr. Holt, 54, passed at his residence on Saturday, January 1, 2026 after a brief illness. He was a former employee of Popeyes Chicken and also Western Sizzlin Steak House as a cook. He leaves to cherish his memories, 1 son, Dimitri McConnell of Meridian; 7 brothers, Eddie Gray Holt and David Earl Holt of Meridian; Kirt Douglas Holt and Grady Holt of Birmingham, AL; Ricky Holt of Meridian; Gregory Holt of Birmingham, AL and Calvin Moultrie of Houston, TX; 5 sisters, Mary Ann Gibbs, Doris Payne and Rhonda Holt all of Meridian; Joan Holt of Huntsville, AL and Rolanda Holt of Birmingham, AL and also 1 grandchild. He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service at the church from 11 - 12 noon. Burial will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Enterprise Funeral has been entrusted with final arrangements.
