Willie Guy Blango Sr., 82, of Havelock the Harlowe Community passed Sunday, January 4, 2026 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

His Funeral Service is Saturday, January 10, 2026, 12:00 PM at Pilgrim Rest Christian Church, Havelock, NC. Entombment will follow at Pilgrim Rest Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 7th to Friday, January 9th at 440 Temples Point Road, Havelock, NC.

Willie Guy is survived by his two daughters, Sandra Blango Frazier and Jennifer Blango Carter (Reginald); eight sons, Willie Guy Blango Jr., Rodney Blango, Tony Blango, Marcus Blango (Sharon) all of Havelock, Ralston Blango, Fayetteville, Ozell Blango, Alvin Blango, New Bern and Charles Wilson (Shelley) Clayton; four brothers, Johnnie Blango (Ada) Havelock, James Blango, Sr. (Joyce) Moss Point, MS, Charles Fenner (Marjorie) New York and Willie Cleveland Culley (Althea) Havelock; sisters, Carrie Lee Payne and Matilda Godette (Ozell) of Havelock; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
