Mr. Kevin "Boo Boo" Brown

Kevin “Boo Boo” Brown was born on September 10, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, to L.T. Strong and Willean Brown. Kevin was a 1981 graduate of Blytheville High School. Following his graduation, Kevin enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served as an Air Traffic Controller. Throughout his ten-year military career, he distinguished himself through his dedication and honorable service, culminating in his retirement. During his assignment in Biloxi, Mississippi, he met and married Patricia Miller, and together they welcomed a son, DeAndre Brown.

Kevin accepted Jesus Christ as his savior as a child and became a member of Bethel AME Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, L. T. Strong, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alice Stokes Wright and a bonus mother/aunt, Lajuanna Stokes Stanton. Kevin transitioned December 27, 2025, in Festus, Missouri at the age of 62.

Kevin is survived by one son, DeAndre Brown of Columbus, Georgia; his mother, Willean Ezikpe of Blytheville, Arkansas; his brother, Timothy Wilkerson of Dallas, Texas; a bonus brother, Sharrod Townsend of Farmington, Missouri; a bonus sister, Rachelle (Alfred) Henderson of Festus, Missouri; two aunts, Shirley White of Kansas City, Missouri, Irene (Ricky) Nichols of Blytheville, Arkansas; one uncle, Elbert Edmonson also of Blytheville, Arkansas; special cousins, Shunton (Iesha) Campell, Catrina (Tyrone) Pope, Jawina Edmonson all of Blytheville, Arkansas; Quinton James, Tashawnda (Rodney) Burton and Stephanie Sweat all of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and a host of nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial of Remembrance is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Faith and Glory Christian Fellowship, 1510 Kari Lane, Blytheville, Arkansas, where Reverend Adron Poole is the pastor.

Bishop Roy Davis will deliver the eulogy.
