Mary Elizabeth Johnson Hayes,73, of Havelock, NC entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 4, 2025 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Service arrangements are pending at Hyman Chapel AME Zion Church. The interment will follow at Hyman Chapel Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Hayes, Havelock; two daughters, Tracy H. Moody, Jacksonville, FL, Trecia Hayes, Havelock; two grandchildren.
