Francine Woods, 63, passed on Friday, January 2, 2026 in Cocoa Beach, FL.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL with Rev. Harrison Ford, officiating. Public Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. EST to 5:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, January 15, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francine Woods, the devoted wife, mother, sister, auntie, cousin, and friend. She lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Francine had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, whether through her warm smile or her thoughtful words. She loved to be around people. Her main hobbies were playing BINGO, shopping, and traveling.

Francine entered this life November 27, 1962, in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Eddie Wright and to the late Voncile Hooten. She entered her final rest Friday, January 2, 2026.

Francine proceeded in heaven by her father Eddie Wright, mother Voncile Hooten, husband Robert Woods, Sr., son Robert Woods, Jr., sister Bernice Glenn, aunt Mary Herron, uncle Bill Herron, nieces Zuleika Dunning and Sarai Johnson and nephew Alston Walters.

Francine leaves to cherish her memories with her loving sisters Maxine Garcia (Frank), Alma Jean Dunning & Shalonda Hooten, sisters-in-law Lorea Wilborn (Mikel), Mary Woods and Vanillis Wright and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins, beloved relatives, and dear friends.
