Funeral service for Clarence Johnson, 87, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026, Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL, 36832, Reverend Joe F. Johnson will officiate.

Mr. Johnson, who passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, in Montgomery, Alabama, was born May 12, 1938, in Bullock County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, January 9, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Sheryl (Kenneth) Dixon of Montgomery, AL, Paula Salter and Clarence (Crystal) Johnson, Jr. both of Auburn, AL; bonus son, Daniel (Shermita) Oden of Vineland, NJ; thirteen grandchildren, Aundra, Emmanuel, Quinton, Mariah, Shala, Cyristin, Mya, Quadir, Jhkya, Naomi, Erin, Jade and Ariel; twenty-six great-grandchildren, Drekwan, Quanashia, Avah, Aundra II, Harmony, Serenity, Ja’Quavion, William, Quinton II, Quintavious, Malaysha, Marcus III, Kimora, Markell, Amari, Z’mirah, A’Hayia, Xavier, Z’marian, Z’Marion, Chrisiah, Crysasia, Amari, Tristin, Quinlan and Dream; one sister, Katie Andrew-Calderon of Beauregard, AL; special nephew, Joe Frank Johnson of Montgomery, AL; special friend, Marian O. Calloway of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
