Kenneth Wayne Parsons

Kenneth Wayne Parsons, born July 6, 1974, in Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on January 12th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication to family. Wayne proudly served in the United States Army for six years, deploying to multiple locations during his service.

Wayne deeply cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Misty Parsons, a loving father, and an adoring grandfather. He found great joy in fishing, tackling new projects without hesitation, and pursuing his passion for mechanical restoration. His hands were rarely still, and his heart was always full when surrounded by those he loved—especially his grandchildren.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Seaton, and his beloved wife, Misty Parsons.

He is survived by his children: Joana Parsons; Kacey (Robert) O’Mary; Sky (William) Majors; and Adam Parsons. He is also survived by his siblings: Rachel, Anne, Hope, Wesley, Sharon, and Kelly. Wayne leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren: Alley, Infinity, Shalea, Kaden, Samuel, Roger, Kaitlynn, and Charlotte.

Wayne will be remembered for his strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for his family.

Funeral services will be held at Unity Mortuary on Thursday, January 29, 2026. The family will be receiving friends from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. with the Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel, 1425 McCalla Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915.

The final resting place will be at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (Lyons View) at 1:00 p.m. A dove release will conclude in his honor.
