Visitation of friends and viewing is 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at St. Paul Catholic Church Atrium.

His Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at St. Paul Catholic Church 3005 Country Club Rd. The Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Crow Simon, of the home; son, Jonathan Simon, New Bern; daughter, Jennifer Simon, Chocowinity, NC; two grandchildren, Addison Weldon and Bradley Weldon, New Bern; four sisters, Adele Pollard, Holly Springs, NC, Jeanne Williams (Jonathan), Clayton, NC, Mary Rumor (Chuck), Trent Woods, NC, Cecilia Wilson (Doug), Arapahoe, NC; a host of nieces and nephews.
