Claraine "Lulu" Cherry

With deep sorrow and mixed emotions, S. Jones Funerals and Cremations stands beside the family of Ms. Claraine Cherry as they prepare to say their heartfelt farewell, "Until We Meet Again." Cherished as "Lulu" by her loved ones, she left this world on January 14, 2026, at the ECU Medical Center.

"Lulu" will lie in repose in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations for a visitation on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend and offer their condolences.

A Farewell Service is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations, commencing at 11:00 AM.

Interment will take place in the Elmwood Cemetery.
