Mrs. Patricia Elaine Burton, 65, of Newton, North Carolina transitioned on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Wendover Hospice House, Shelby, North Carolina.

She was born in Catawba County, North Carolina on January 29, 1960 to the late Charles Jacob Shuford and Rosie Lee Gaither Allen.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Coulters Grove AME Zion Church at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial is to follow in the church cemetery.

A public viewing will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the funeral home from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
