Funeral service for Donald Lockhart, 72, of Opelika, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Friday, January 23, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend John Thomas will officiate.

Mr. Lockhart, who passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born December 26, 1953, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one sister, Lois Lockhart of Prince Ann, MD; four brothers, Eddie B. (Gail) Lockhart, Jr. of Midlothian, VA, John Stanley (Donna) Lockhart of Woodbridge, VA, Thomas Lockhart of New York, NY and Leon Douglas Lockhart of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
