MOTHER HELEN ANN GRAHAM - Age 86, Of Dalton, Georgia and formerly of Rome, Georgia transitioned peacefully Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Mother Helen Ann Montgomery Graham entered this life on January 16, 1940 in Floyd County to her parents Jonas Mitchell and Trevolia Montgomery Creamer. She was preceded in death by her (mother) Trevolia Montgomery Creamer, (Father) Jonas Mitchell, brothers, Jo Frank, Cecil Creamer, and Charlie James Creamer, grandson, Christopher J. Graham.

Her early education started at E. S. Brown School in Cave Springs and moved from Floyd County where she attended Main High School and completed her high school education at West Rome High School where she received her G.E.D. She continued her education at Coosa Valley Technical School where she achieved a Practical Nursing Degree. She started her employment at Battey State Hospital in 1967 which was later named Northwest Regional Hospital. She retired in 1992 after 25 years of service. She went on to be a Supervisor for a private sitting company, and finally decided to retire in 2020 at the age of 80.

In 1961, she was filled with the Holy Ghost at Christ Temple Holiness Church under the Leadership of Bishop Nealon Guthrie and Mother Laura Guthrie at 1516 Flannery Street Rome, Georgia. She served faithfully for over 22 years. She later founded The Georgia State Council Nurses Guild. Then in 1998-2004, she became Vice President over the International Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Health Professionals. In 2004-2007, Mother Graham became the President of The International Pentecostal Assemblies of The World Health Professionals. Also in 2004, she resigned as the Georgia State Council Health Professional President. Also in 2004, Mother Graham passed on the legacy to her son, Minister Nealon Graham, through training and she became the Advisor for the Georgia State Council Health Professional up until her passing.

Mother Graham leaves to cherish her Legacy of Love, “Her Sweet Thing,” her loving husband of 66 years, Bishop Reuben Graham, Sr.; children, Betty Herring, Lequita Glanton, Vickie Graham, Reuben Graham, Jr. (Cynita), Elander Graham, Sr. (Rhonda),Minister Nealon Graham (Krista); two brothers, Billy Creamer, ands William Creamer; sixteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and a large amount of great-great grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, extended family and friends; and the True Gospel Church family, whom she loved dearly each and every one.

Home Going Service to Celebrate the Life of Mother Helen Graham will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 12:00 noon at True Gospel Pentecostal Church, 225 Henderson Street, Dalton, Georgia 30721. On Friday, at the Willis Funeral Home, from 12:00 noon until 7:00 P.M., Mother Graham will be out for viewing. Interment will be at the East View Cemetery, Rome, Georgia. Mother Graham will lie in state at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Saturday. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
