WASHINGTON – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington, LA for Mr. Lee Ronald Fontenot, 82, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be held in The Old Grand Prairie Cemetery, Hwy 748 St. Peters Rd., Washington, LA.

Rev. Corey Campeaux will be officiating the funeral mass.

Mr. Fontenot’s memories are being cherished by his cousin/God child, Marjorie LeDay of Opelousas, LA and a host of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Emma Fontenot and his sister, Thelma Fontenot.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m.
