Lizzie Bell Lynch

Funeral service for Lizzie Bell Lynch 89, will be Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 1 pm at the AFM Church of God Campgound, 49967 Highway 78, Lincoln with Bishop TC Tolbert, Jr., eulogist, Apostle Andra Cunningham, officiating. Interment will follow at Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Lynch passed away on January 14, 2026 at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lynch's remains will arrive at the church campground one hour prior to her service.

Mrs. Lynch was educated in Talladega County School System and graduated in the class of 1955. She was a faithful and dedicated member of New Jerusalem AFM Church of God for over 60 years under the pastorate of the late Bishop T. C. Tolbert,Sr., and current pastor Bishop T. C. Tolbert, Jr. In June 2014, Lizzie earned an Associate of Art Degree in Christian Leadership, from Florida Apostolic Bible College. She served in many departments at local, district and national level in the AFM Church of God organization. She retired from Stringfellow Hospital after 35 years of service. She retired at the age of 75 as Housekeeping Supervisor.

Survivors include her sons: Leander (Donna) Lynch, Lonzo, (Regina) Lynch, Jr.; daughter, Donyce (Roy, Sr. ) Montgomery; grandchildren: Lamonte Kendrick, Satasha Lynch-Singleton, Bethany Ryan, Roy, (Camelia) Montgomery, Jr., Donedra (Tre) Heflin-King, Fatima (Kevin) Nolan, Orlando (Tia) Allen, Patrice (Andra) Winston and LaQuetta Lynch; her brother: Myrtis Fomby, Jr; sisters in-love: Jeannie (Willie) Pierce and Jeannette Wilson; bonus son: Glenell Kirksey and bonus son in-love: Reginald Reed; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her by her parents Howard Embry, Velma and Myrtis Fomby, her hubsand, Lonzo Lynch, Sr., sisters, Jesse Walker, Mary Brown, Lula McElrath, Geneva Curry, Bessie McCluney, and Josephine Fomby, brothers, Edward Fomby and TJ Fomby, grandson, Dalriko Blake, and bonus daughter, Miranda Reed.
