Obituary For James Collins Anderson

Obituary James Collins Anderson was born in Rocky Ford, Georgia on May 10, 1952. He was one of seven children born to the late Monroe and Jimmie Anderson. The Anderson Family later moved to Sylvania, Georgia where James attended public schools. He attended Central High School, where he proudly played in the marching band and graduated in 1970. In his youth, James, dedicated his life to Christ by joining and being baptized at Park Grove Baptist Church in Sylvania, Georgia. After his high school graduation, James moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he started his work journey. He worked with his brother at Anderson Paint and Body Shop. He later worked for ten years with the local labor union. He retired from his work journey after twenty years of working in the Broward County School System. After moving to Ft. Lauderdale, James met and joined in holy matrimony Cora Kittles. Through this union, God blessed them with three lovely daughters, Andrea, Tiffany, and Jamie. James was a devoted husband and father. He adored his daughters and grandchildren. James leaves to cherish his memories:his loving wife, Cora Kittles Anderson; three daughters, Andrea Scott, Tiffany Holliman (Noah), and Jamie Anderson; six siblings, Lewis Anderson (Maggie), McKinley Anderson (Lessie), Monroe Anderson Jr. (Lanette), Estelle Samiuel (Willie), Marian Brook (Don), and Sarah Williams; five grandchildren: Abdullah, Muhammad, Karriyma, Tatyanna, and Jadyn; one great grandchild, Nemiah; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
