Obituary Devon Wilbert Davis was born on August 3, 1962, in the parish of St Ann, Davis Town Jamaica, to parents Mr. Davis and the late Hilda Grant. Devon moved to the parish of St. Andrew at an early age, where he attended Saint Aloysius Primary School. After passing the technical exam he attend St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS). Upon graduating high school he took on his first love, cooking. Devon was an entrepreneur who started his own catering business. He would go on to buy a truck where he would sell food. In 1988 when Devon became a father it changed his perspective on life. Devon migrated to New York in the early 2000 and later relocated to Florida. Devon worked as a chef at Sky Chef at the Fort Lauderdale airport and Electrolux. Devon was a gentle giant with a bright smile that warmed your heart. He was always encouraging every one to strive to be better. Devon was always willing to assist anyone that needed his help. Devon had a passion for horse racing, soccer and domino. He would often be seen playing domino with friends. Devon was the life of the party. He loved to dance and tell jokes. He loved to listen to Denis Brown and Morgan Heritage. He is survived by son Kean, grandson Kean Jr., Lorna, Aunt Yvonne Morgan, Uncle Leslie Higgins, cousins, and many friends. Devon Wilbert Davis was affectionately known as "Hamma or Biggs" passed away on January 6, 2019 at Florida Medical Hospital at the age of 56.
