Hasson M.Harris, 44, of Ft. Mitchell, AL passed on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. EST at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Hatchechubbee, Alabama with Benjamin McArthur, officiating. Public viewing will be held Friday, January 30, 2026 from 3 - 5 p.m. EST.
Hasson Mandoza Harris Jr., age 44, passed away on January 21, 2026. Born on April 15, 1981, he grew up in the close‑knit community of Hatchechubbee, Alabama, and later settled in Fort Mitchell, Alabama, where he built a life rooted in family, laughter, and love.
Hasson was a born‑again Christian who accepted the Lord into his heart, and he was a devoted member of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. His faith guided him, strengthened him, and shaped the way he loved his family and lived his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hasson Harris, Sr., his mother, Shirley Harris, and his sister, Latoria Harris‑Newsome.
Hasson lived a life full of energy, humor, and adventure. He loved to joke and have fun, and he never turned down a good time. Whether he was touring the country, enjoying a trip to the casino, or spending time with his children and grandchild, he embraced every moment with joy and enthusiasm. His ability to bring lightness and laughter into any room was one of his greatest gifts.
He is survived by his loving wife LaTisha Stewart‑Harris, and his sister, Natasha, along with her husband, Donald Davis. Hasson leaves behind his children, Jayvon Stewart, KaDaija Stewart, DeQuan Harris, Trevohn Harris, AmBreiyah Harris, Arthur Priestly, Katelynn Harris, and Hasson "June" Harris, III — each of whom carries a piece of his spirit. He is also survived by his cherished grandchild, Brooklyn Stewart, who brought him immense joy.
Hasson's legacy lives on through his family and the countless lives he touched with his humor, his love, his faith, and his unforgettable spirit.
