Angela Eaddy

02/26/1956 - 01/15/2026

Angela Eaddy transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Mercy Health in Youngstown. Born on February 26, 1956, in Youngstown, Ohio, Angela was the cherished daughter of Andrew Eaddy Sr. and Constance Parkman-Eaddy.

A proud graduate of South High School in 1974, Angela explored her passion for animals through pre-veterinary studies at Youngstown State University, though her career path ultimately led her to serve in the medical field. With a remarkable thirty-five years at Forum Health, primarily at North Side Hospital and Hillside Rehabilitation Center, Angela made a meaningful impact on countless lives. She also served as a deputy sheriff in Mahoning County, showcasing her dedication to her community.

Angela's love for her family was boundless. She is survived by her brothers, Andrew L. Eaddy Jr., Vincent G. Eaddy, and Gerald (Crystal) Cook. Her spirit will live on through her nieces, including Alisa (Edley) Bates, Anisha "Grace" Moore-Eaddy, and Kristina Floyd, as well as her great nephew Aston Bates and great niece Tres'Bien Bates. Angela had a special bond with her family, always ready to lend an ear or share a laugh.

Angela's passions extended beyond her work and family; she was an avid pet lover and a committed member of New Bethel Baptist Church, where she served on the nurse's guild ministry. She took immense joy in supporting her favorite team, the Cleveland Browns, showcasing her spirited personality and enthusiasm for life.

As Angela’s faith became sight, she was reunited with her parents and grandparents. As we remember Angela, let us cherish her kindness, her infectious laughter, and the love she shared so freely. Though she will be missed dearly, we take comfort in knowing she is with her loved ones and Jesus Christ, her Savior, in Heaven.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Angela's life at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman Street. The community is invited to attend a public viewing on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, starting at 10:00 am. The Celebration of Life services will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Kenneth L Simon officiating.

At this time of intimate need and personal loss, the family of Angela Eaddy elected to entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with Transitional After-Care Arrangements to the J. E. Washington Funeral Services, 2234 Glenwood Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio, 330.782.8500.
