Mrs. Essie Ray Hardin 89, of Clinton, Maryland and formerly of Chester, SC passed away on Wednesday January 7, 2026, in Maryland.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday January 20, 2026, at 11:00am at Kettering Baptist Church 6909 Crain Highway Upper Marlboro Maryland, 20772.

She was a graduate of Finley Sr. High School in Chester, SC and was the widow of Charlie Hardin and the daughter of Marie Gist Roseboro.
