It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Detroit Reynolds

Detroit Reynolds, 70, died Friday, January 23, 2026.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Jacob Chapel Baptist Church, with burial at Christian Burying Society Cemetery.

Viewing will be on Friday, January 30, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Strong & Jones Funeral Home. A Wake Service will follow from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Miccosukee Church of God of Prophecy, 11752 Moccasin Gap Road.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Reynolds; three sons, Vonzel Desean Reynolds, Detroit Lenell Reynolds and Christopher Jermaine Reynolds (Lanise); one brother, Charlie Reynolds; two sisters, Coretha Stevens and Millie Bentley; and a host of other loving family and friends.
